A Cozy Scene

A good friend of mine who lives in Australia, sent me this picture of him while reading, A Detailed Man. I wanted to share it with you.

Personally, I don't think I'd get much reading done in a beautiful setting like this.

  1. Thanks David. I walk here most days, feed the ducks and sit for a while. A good book is always welcome.

  2. I like this photograph and I love Australia. I would, however, caution the occasional visitor who may wish to `bide a wee` and sit by a tranquil pool - Think "Crocodile Dundee", think "Worlds most deadly snakes and spiders", think, "most native wildlife in this lovely place carry enough venom, teeth and kill instinct to ruin many a good book" Apart from that teeny note of caution, keep calm and carry on!

  3. Yes, Jeffrey has told me about the spiders and snakes. Yikes.

  4. Ah, the first comment, I didn't study his handle closely.

St Kilda! Rode a bicycle along the waterfront there in 2003. Co-incidentally, a girl I knew in London in 1972 comes from there. She was an artist and was regularly sketching a story page in a popular magazine "Fabulous 208" in those days. Probably got an antique/art/craft shop in St K now! Hi Tina!
