As many of you know I'm a retired police detective turned crime fiction writer. I've done a lot of other things in life prior to police work and I wish I had a book like Freedom After the Sharks when I got started. It still looks like a worthy read, even in retirement. Following is a little bit about the book and the author.
Geoff Hudson-Searle's book "Freedom after the Sharks" is coming out soon.
The book covers how to survive regardless of a lack of resources and finances in a declining economy. The book discusses business failures, success, and includes business models that can be implemented immediately.
The primary target audience are entrepreneurs. Starting up, they may not be sure of the path to take. Even if they can visualize the path, it is good to learn from other people’s mistakes and failures. Other groups of readers are middle management or junior executives who are looking for a fascinating life story of courage, drive, and inspiration. The secondary target audience are graduates and college students who will find information that will prepare them for their career.
About the author: Geoff Hudson-Searle is a very passionate and innovating international director whose leadership is characterized by sharing information, round-table discussions, and strategic growth and deployment. Embracing cultural diversity in business, Geoff is a thought-leader. Now, he has added being an author to his impressive resume.
Geoff blogs about his business insights and workshops here.
David, thank you for the post "Geoffrey’s" skills and self-motivation gave him the drive, determination and tenacity to continue a journey through hardship to reach self-fulfillment and, ultimately, success. My book describes the life journey of a young man’s heart and his desire to turn his dreams and vision into a business success.
ReplyDelete“Freedom after the Sharks” shows how, even in a declining economy, a business can survive and even succeed. It covers some real-life experiences and offers some suggestions for dealing with problems and issues. It provides a guide to finding your way in the business world. My book demonstrates how to arm yourself with the pressures of survival in any situation but importantly an erratic economy, to challenge decisions, what not to do and tools to help you succeed. Change has a funny habit of teaching you much about yourself; it goes to the core of your own weaknesses, strengths and eccentricities. Leadership forces you to stay true to yourself and recognize times when you are at your best and worst; the key is to stay focused and to make decisions that will look at continuous improvement. Even though this may be small, incremental change, it is positive change you can build upon even though you may be in quicksand, The book is geared towards individuals from all walks of life and helps address some of the most difficult objectives in life and in business, and the journey to a place of success and truth, I hope you enjoy reading my book!
